Fonds pour l'Égalité d'Accès à la Formation

A solidarity fund for access to, development of and quality in training. Because access to knowledge must not depend on money.

Why this fund

The FEAF is a solidarity funding scheme run by Rosa Lëtzebuerg as part of formations.lgbt. It rests on one conviction: access to knowledge and skills must not depend solely on the financial resources available.

It also recognises that quality training requires lasting investment in course design, content, methods and learning tools. The fund therefore acts on three complementary levels.

Three missions

Solidarity-based access

Covering part or all of the participation fees for people on low incomes, volunteers, small associations and organisations with limited training budgets.

Developing training

Designing new training and improving existing programmes: modules, content, trainers, adaptation to audiences, evaluation and innovative formats.

Teaching resources

Materials, books and documentation, training materials, digital resources, licences, accessible materials and reusable teaching kits.

In detail

Who can receive help with participation?

The FEAF can cover part or all of the participation fees for training for people and organisations facing financial difficulties.

This support is aimed in particular at people on low incomes, volunteers, small associations and organisations with limited training budgets. The aim is to reduce economic barriers and enable as many people as possible to develop their knowledge and skills.

Write to us before registering or requesting a quote.

Which development expenses are eligible?

The FEAF can finance the design of new training and the improvement of existing programmes offered as part of formations.lgbt. Eligible expenses may include:

  • Designing new modules and training paths.
  • Developing and updating teaching content.
  • Paying trainers and experts in charge of course development.
  • Adapting training to different audiences and contexts.
  • Evaluating training and continuously improving its quality.
  • Creating innovative, accessible or digital teaching formats.

This strand helps guarantee a training offer that is relevant, up to date and adapted to the needs of the people concerned.

Which teaching resources can the fund finance?

The FEAF can also support the investments needed to deliver high-quality training. It can in particular finance:

  • The purchase of teaching materials and tools.
  • The acquisition of books, publications and documentary resources.
  • The design and production of training materials.
  • The development of digital teaching resources.
  • The acquisition of licences and learning tools.
  • The adaptation of materials to improve their accessibility.
  • The creation of teaching kits that can be reused across several trainings.

Resources acquired or developed through the fund are intended to support the teaching activities of formations.lgbt in the long term.

How is the fund financed?

The FEAF can be funded by donations, solidarity contributions, grants, partnerships and dedicated funding. Individuals, companies, foundations and institutions can contribute to financing the scheme.

Contributions can support all the fund's missions or be allocated to a specific strand, in accordance with the conditions agreed with the funders.

Who manages the fund and how is funding allocated?

Rosa Lëtzebuerg is responsible for the administrative and financial management of the FEAF. Funding is allocated according to identified needs, the relevance of requests, teaching priorities and available resources.

The scheme distinguishes two forms of support:

  • Individual or collective grants, awarded to facilitate participation in a training.
  • Funding for teaching projects, intended to support the development of training and the acquisition of the resources needed to deliver it.

Funding decisions are based on defined, documented and transparent criteria.

Through the FEAF, Rosa Lëtzebuerg wants to build a lasting mechanism of solidarity and investment in teaching at the service of formations.lgbt: acting both on the financial barriers to participation and on the means needed for an accessible and sustainable training offer.
