Stay Cool! A guide to dealing with (queer) news and debates with a level head

For schools

Description

In a world full of sensationalist headlines, misinformation, and fake news, we are often faced with uncertainty and frustration. It is not always easy to keep a clear head, particularly when it comes to topics that seem unrelatable and difficult to understand. This is the perfect breeding ground for hatred and rejection. This workshop aims to counteract this. Participants will delve into key debates about and within the queer community in Luxembourg and abroad. Through discussions and practical exercises designed to encourage them to consider a wide range of perspectives, they will be able to strengthen their analytical and critical thinking skills. Our goal is to foster empathy and reflection in the face of an ever-accelerating cycle of news and public debate.
